Garage Shop rennovations

So I figured I'd use this blog to document the renovations at the garage I bought here in Philadelphia.  So far I've mostly set up the wood shop downstairs and haven'e done anything upstairs yet.  The plan is to have a studio apt. upstairs for Gina and I to live in and the woodshop downstairs.  The area is not known for being the friendliest, but the longer I'm here the more good people I meet and I feel so lucky to have randomly found this place.  My neighbor Jason is a mechanic who is also starting his own record label.  He bought an ambulance shortly after I purchased the garage and we renovated it into a mobile recording studio.  It's the only space with air conditioning on seemingly the whole block, so theres always a party going on in and around it.  The plan is to be able to go all over to meet with artists and record, but for now everyone in the neighborhood just comes to us.  I have yet to get in the booth and lay down a track myself, but its only a matter of time...

Anyways, here's some pics of what the garage looked like last year when I got it.  There will be more to come of where its at now.

the outside still looks exactly the same except my neighbor's maxima is finally gone
